Requisition ID: 244971 Job Category: Oracle / Database Development Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 5+ Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Work Mode: Onsite – 5 Days a Week Shift: Day Shift Salary Budget: AED 13,000–15,000 per month, based on experience and interview feedback Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Oracle PL/SQL development to design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance database solutions for large-scale transactional systems.

Candidates with experience in airline reservation, ticketing, fare management, and Passenger Name Record (PNR) systems will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Write, analyze, and tune complex SQL queries for high-volume transactional databases. Apply strong knowledge of relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning. Support large-scale production systems and ensure database performance, reliability, and scalability.

Analyze and resolve data discrepancies related to bookings, fares, ticketing, payments, and foreign exchange reconciliation. Maintain data integrity and support audit and compliance requirements involving passenger and airline financial data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot database issues and deliver reliable solutions.

Mandatory Skills 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience. Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills. Good understanding of relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning. Experience with high-volume transactional production systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Domain Experience Airline reservation and booking systems. Airline ticketing and fare management. Passenger Name Record (PNR). Airline inventory management. Booking, payment, and financial reconciliation. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Work Location and Relocation Requirements The role requires working onsite at the client location in Dubai, UAE, five days a week. Candidates currently based outside Dubai may apply if they are willing and ready to relocate. A valid passport is mandatory. Candidates must provide written email acknowledgment confirming their acceptance of the Dubai onsite requirement.
