COORDINATOR, REFERRAL/AUTHORIZATION

Position Description:#Processing patient referrals to specialists and obtain authorization from third party payer. Keep patients#informed of the status of the referral and specialist information. Assist with scheduling specialist#appointments as needed. May perform other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: [Required] High School Diploma or equivalent.

#Basic PC skills and Basic office skills (fax, copy machine, multi-line telephone). At least 1#year clerical experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge of authorization/referral process for HMO/PPO and workers# comp. # Salary range: $23.00 - $30.00##Salary will be commensurate with experience.
