Maintenance Mechanic

About the Role

We have a current opening for a Maintenance Mechanic and are actively reviewing applications Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment, including ovens, packaging equipment, facility equipment, and support systems. Responsible for planned and preventive maintenance on same equipment.

Main Responsibilities: Troubleshoots and repair packaging, baking and processing equipment Must be able to diagnose reasons for mechanical failures and know basic electricity principles Provide basic maintenance services to building, including building structure Repair pneumatic, mechanical drive and electrical components Can safely operate shop equipment including: Hydraulic presses, Bridgeport, lathes, band saw, and hand operated power tools.

Mig,tig and stick welding skills preferred Operate Forklifts and Arial lifts Understanding of plant utilities equipment including: Chillers, HVAC, Air Compressors Food Processing experience preferred Basic Electrical troubleshooting to include: fuses, motors, circuit breakers, plant lighting Experience with CMMS or ERP systems preferred, SAP experience preferred Basic Computing skills About You: EDUCATION: 5 years Maintenance experience minimum or a combination of 3 years’ experience and education RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1 year of Maintenance experience Artificial Intelligence Disclosure As part of our recruitment process, Ferrero may use artificial intelligence (AI) enabled tools to assist with reviewing candidate applications.

Our Benefits & Perks: The base salary range for this position is $37.90 - $44.15 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
