Prince Frederick Surgery Center is hiring a Surgical Scheduler! Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedics, Interventional Pain, General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, and Podiatry Surgical Scheduler at Prince Frederick Surgery Center Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, is responsible for daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of the scheduling process.

This includes strategizing and problem solving and ensuring high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from all doctors'' offices and Operating Room Staff. Schedulers will do benefits verification and provide patient estimates. Successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership, communication and customer service skills as well as the ability to diffuse difficult scheduling conflicts efficiently with strategy.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate previous successful/positive customer service encounters or programs.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. Previous surgery scheduling or medical scheduling experience preferred. Experience with insurance verification, benefits, and prior authorizations. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

61 to Max $26.47 per hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
