BOH: Line Cook

Job description Join Chef Saipin and the award‑winning Lotus of Siam team as a part‑time Grill Cook specializing in authentic Northern Thai grilling techniques and high‑quality protein preparation. Experience preferred. Deliver consistent, well‑timed plates and support a fast‑paced kitchen with respect for traditional flavors.

Manage the grill station: maintain mise en place, prep marinades, skewers, and sauces as directed.

Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and consistency. Plate and finish dishes according to Lotus of Siam standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station; clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly. Rotate inventory, assist with receiving and proper storage of deliveries.

Report equipment issues, breakage, or safety concerns immediately to management. Coordinate with other line cooks, expediters, and servers for timely ticket completion. Follow all SNHD food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist other kitchen stations when necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

Prior grill or line cook experience preferred, especially with Thai or Asian cuisine. Must have Nevada Food Handler Safety Card. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume environment. Positive attitude, reliable, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
