Overview

PRN CT Technologist – PTO & Sick Time Coverage Location: University of Maryland Charles Regional Imaging Schedule: PRN | Flexible Coverage | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Seeking a flexible PRN CT Technologist to provide PTO and sick time coverage within a busy outpatient imaging center. In this role, you will combine advanced technical expertise with exceptional patient care to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities include

performing CT examinations efficiently and accurately while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, service excellence, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols. Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards and best practices. Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Review patient histories and verify exam appropriateness prior to scanning.

Administer contrast materials as appropriate and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements. Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program ARRT registered (R), (CT) and (MR) Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active Active state licensure, where applicable Prior Experience: 0 - 2+ years of experience as a Cat Scan (CT) Technologist Special Qualifications: Knowledge of CT procedures and standards Skill in operation of CT equipment Customer service background and focus Company Message About Med.
