• Cash Operations (Galle) Union Assurance is a leading corporate and the fastest growing entity in the Life Insurance industry backed by the strength and stability of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of Sri Lanka's largest conglomerates. The Job The person will be responsible for Manage the end-to-end cash operations including reconciliation of amounts received by supporting regional sales teams and the sales operation. Principle Accountability: Collect cash and cheque for payment of insurance premium or related expenses as per the guidelines of Union Assurance. Ensure safekeeping of cash, cheques from customers while following due diligence Provide payment plans basis customer requirement Maintain and track cash receipts and keep updating the records Liaison with the finance team to reconcile data pertaining to premiums received by cheque/cash Assist the customers with any queries during the process of depositing cash/cheque as per the stipulated SLAs Ensure to follow SLA and guidelines established for smooth cash operations. Ensure to maintain proper records on miscellaneous items, cash collection and proper record management.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in cash handling, cashiering, finance operations, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of cash management and account reconciliation. Good numerical, record-keeping, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong customer service and communication skills.
