Job Coach

Job Details: Job Location: 3079 Teagarden Street

• San Leandro, CA, Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.00Hourly, Davis Street Community Center is seeking a Job Coach to support adults with disabilities in community jobs. You’ll provide training and on-site coaching, help clients build workplace skills, and work with employers, coworkers, and support teams to help each client succeed. Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, typically 7:00–11:00 a.m., with additional hours and flexibility based on client needs.

Help develop and carry out vocational training plans that build job skills and support workplace adjustment.

Provide ongoing coaching to help clients meet job expectations, retain skills, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers. Adjust your support and schedule as client needs change, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least six months of experience working with or caring for adults with intellectual disabilities; professional or family caregiving experience qualifies Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and auto insurance Current CPR and First Aid certification Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and work both independently and with a team Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and priorities
