Job Description 🩺 Medical Assistant – Endocrinology 📍 Parkville Location Join Saint Luke's Endocrinology team and help provide exceptional care to patients managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal conditions, and other endocrine disorders. This role offers a combination of direct patient care, care coordination, and administrative responsibilities in a specialty clinic setting serving the Parkville community.

What You'll Do

✅ Patient Care Perform pre-visit planning and prepare patients for appointments Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information Review medications, allergies, and health information for accuracy Administer injections and coordinate vaccines Perform phlebotomy as needed Assist providers with procedures as needed Conduct telephone screening using established protocols Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor ✅ Endocrinology Support Support patients managing conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions Assist with patient education and care coordination Monitor and communicate provider instructions regarding laboratory testing, medications, and follow-up appointments Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, prescription refill requests, and prior authorizations ✅ Administrative Responsibilities Utilize the EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record Schedule appointments, testing, and follow-up visits as needed Complete prior authorizations and medication refill requests Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Provide front office support when needed Perform additional duties based on clinic needs Why You'll Love This Opportunity 💙 Convenient Parkville location 💙 Monday-Friday schedule 💙 Collaborative team of providers and nursing staff 💙 Opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients managing chronic conditions 💙 Meaningful work that positively impacts patient outcomes If you're a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who enjoys both patient care and care coordination, we'd love to hear from you!
