Job description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical & Electronic (EE) Test & Validation Engineer to support the development and quality assurance of next-generation automotive systems. This role focuses on system-level and vehicle-level validation of EE functions, ensuring that all electrical and electronic features operate reliably, safely, and in line with design requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

The role involves working in a modern automotive development environment with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure end-to-end system quality and integration. The scope covers key EE domains including: Charging (HV), ADAS, Body Electronics, Connectivity, Diagnostics, and Safety systems. Perform validation of EE systems at ECU, subsystem, and full vehicle level.

Design and execute test cases and test scenarios based on system requirements and technical specifications. Conduct functional, integration, and system-level testing on bench setups, simulation environments, and real vehicles. Analyze test data, logs, and signals to evaluate system behavior and identify issues. Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.

Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system quality and project milestones. Report test progress, risks, and validation results to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields. Experience in automotive EE testing or system-level validation (ECU / system / vehicle level). Preferred: hands-on experience with vehicle-level testing or automotive development projects. Good understanding of automotive EE architecture and ECU interactions.

Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN/ LIN/ Ethernet/ UDS/ DoIP. Experience using testing or diagnostic tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or equivalent tools. Understanding of automotive development and testing processes (V-model / V&V). Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Good English communication skills (spoken and written), including technical reading and reporting.
