Senior Planner London | £43,000–£54,000 plus bonus A residential development business is seeking a Senior Planner in London to help move sites from acquisition and appraisal through to planning permission and delivery. The opportunity The team’s workload includes residential-led development, regeneration, land acquisition and planning delivery.

The central purpose of the position is to work client-side within a housebuilding and development business, helping sites progress from acquisition to consent. Prepare clear planning appraisals, statements and strategic advice. Manage planning applications and coordinate technical inputs. Maintain regular, professional communication with clients and project teams.

Negotiate constructively with local planning authorities and other stakeholders. Support larger instructions while steadily increasing your own project responsibility.

About you

Mrtpi or equivalent experience; consultancy, housebuilder or local authority background; commercial judgement. You should also be organised, dependable and able to explain planning issues in straightforward language. The business is interested in people who value good advice and long-term client relationships rather than unnecessary internal politics.

Package and working arrangements The salary is £43,000–£54,000 plus bonus. The wider package includes bonus, pension, healthcare, hybrid working and exposure to the full development lifecycle.
