Forex Trader

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Forex trading, strong market knowledge, disciplined risk management, and the ability to make informed trading decisions in dynamic market conditions. This is a performance-driven opportunity, with compensation linked to trading profitability. The selected candidate will work closely with the existing trading team and will have the opportunity to transition directly with the current trader during the onboarding period.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze global Forex markets, price action, technical indicators, economic data, and macroeconomic events to identify high-probability trading opportunities. Develop and execute short-term and medium-term trading strategies across major and minor currency pairs. Conduct technical and quantitative analysis using market structure, trends, support/resistance, liquidity, volatility, and price-action techniques.

Execute trades efficiently while following defined trading strategies, risk limits, and portfolio guidelines. Maintain disciplined risk management, including position sizing, stop-loss placement, risk/reward assessment, and overall exposure management. Track and evaluate trading performance, including P&L, drawdowns, win rate, expectancy, and other relevant performance metrics.

Perform backtesting and optimization of trading strategies using historical market data. Continuously research and improve trading strategies based on changing market conditions, volatility regimes, and performance results. Maintain accurate trade records and performance reports and analyze winning and losing trades to identify opportunities for improvement.

Stay current on central-bank decisions, interest rates, inflation, employment data, geopolitical developments, and other macroeconomic factors affecting currency markets. Collaborate with the trading team to develop and refine systematic and discretionary trading approaches. Support knowledge transfer and transition from the existing trading team as required.

Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in Forex trading or Forex research. Strong understanding of global currency markets and market dynamics. Demonstrated understanding of trading strategies, technical analysis, and market behavior. Strong knowledge of risk management and trading discipline. Ability to analyze market conditions and make data-driven trading decisions.

Experience tracking and evaluating trading performance and P&L. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader trading team. Good to Have – Technical Skills Experience with one or more of the following would be an advantage: Pine Script MQL4 / MQL5 Python Developing or modifying trading indicators.

Automating trading strategies. Backtesting and quantitative strategy development.
