KidzConnect Instructor

Position: Kidz. Connect Instructor Reports to: Childcare Director Position type: Hourly, Part-time School Year, Full-time Summer Position Summary: Strive each day to create opportunities for students to grow and develop as they play, complete homework and attend enrichments. Kidz. Connect is a ministry of FB Concord that is inspiring students and families to follow Jesus.

Become an active member of FB Concord or be an active member of a local like-minded bible teaching church Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church. Per TN Licensing Requirements be at least 18 years of age. 1st. Aid/CPR certification preferred – able to obtain upon hire RESPONSIBILITIES Create a safe and engaging program for children of all abilities to grow & thrive Follow all TN Licensing Requirements Follow all Kidz. Connect best practices Keep the Director updated on any students who have areas of concern.

Ensure constant supervision of class – in class, playground, halls, lunchroom, etc Maintain a clean and orderly environment Follow class schedule and routine with consistence Ensure that toys, activities, and expectations are developmentally appropriate Work to ensure that confidentiality is maintained by faculty and staff as it pertains to student discipline, academic struggles or staff issues Duties will vary based on the age of the classroom Working Conditions: Typically, a 5-day a week classroom schedule.

Work includes but is not limited to walking, standing, walking up and down stairs, squatting, bending, carrying items up to 45lbs, getting up and down off the floor. Time will be spent both indoors and outdoors, in both quiet and chaotic spaces.
