Press Operator

We are currently hiring Press Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. It is expected that your knowledge, competency, speed and accuracy will improve over time. Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm. Rate: £12.71. Type: Permanent. Location: Stourport on Severn, DY13.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining. excellent safety and quality standards. Manufacturing or assembling components in accordance with drawings or customers’ requirements. Operate saws, break out laser cut parts, and finish. Inspect products, evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

Reliability and good communication skills. Able to use hand tools. Ability to safely and effectively operate press brake controls Ability to read and understand drawings. Basic computer skills. Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
