Combined pulmonary practice with ICU rotations.

Possible option for 0.75 FTE. Day schedule; 24/7 in-house intensivist and APP coverage minimizes after-hours responsibilities. Call Schedule: 24/7 in-house intensivist/APP support minimizes after-hours pulmonary responsibilities; individual call expectations will be discussed.

Compensation

Estimated full-time annual compensation of $400,000–$500,000, plus productivity and dedicated ICU coverage compensation; final offer and any 0.75 FTE adjustment will be confirmed by the employer. New Grads/Practicing: BE/BC; new graduates welcome. Description: Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician for a full-time, permanent opportunity in central Pennsylvania near Hollidaysburg.

New graduates are welcome to apply. A possible option for 0.75 FTE may be available. Provide comprehensive care for general and advanced pulmonary disorders and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during ICU rotations. The practice combines pulmonary clinical care with advanced critical care medicine. The bronchoscopy suite supports routine bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS.

A supportive interventional radiology team partners on CT-guided lung biopsies and ultrasound-guided thoracentesis. Advanced practice providers support the pulmonary clinic and ICU. Round-the-clock in-house intensivist and APP coverage helps minimize after-hours pulmonary responsibilities, within a regional hospital and established multispecialty referral network.

Estimated full-time annual compensation is $400,000–$500,000, with productivity incentives and dedicated ICU coverage compensation. The employer will confirm the final offer and any compensation adjustment for a 0.75 FTE schedule.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Completion of pulmonary and critical care fellowship training.
  • Ability to provide pulmonary clinical care and ICU coverage.
  • Bronchoscopy skills appropriate to training and experience.
  • Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • BE/BC; new graduates welcome.
  • Strong communication and collaborative, patient-centered care skills.
  • No visa sponsorship at this time.
