Substitute Teacher – Moderate/Severe Special Education 2026-2027

Job Description / Essential Elements Called on an as needed basis when the regular teacher is out for the day or half a day.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Must possess a valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe Support Needs). A copy of the credential must be attached to the application. Applicants holding only a 30-Day Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit are not eligible and will be screened out. Applicants with other permits or credentials may apply through the K-12 Substitute Teacher recruitment.

A complete online application is required for consideration. Applications submitted without the required credential documentation will be screened out. Credentialed Substitute Applicants only. No 30 day substitutes will be contacted for this. Opened until a sufficient applicant pool has been established. This position may be closed when we obtain a sufficient amount of applications in our pool.
