Track Construction Supervisor - Metro Rail

About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia. Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities. The Opportunity Coordinate track-building crews and subcontractors across a major metropolitan rail construction programme, working with teams at multiple Sydney project locations.

Your Work

• Plan daily and weekly production and contribute to short-term methods and schedules.
• Lead safe site delivery and control risks before work begins.
• Review drawings and constructability and implement approved designs.
• Monitor budgets, subcontract performance, progress and shift-handover reporting.
• Develop leading hands and maintain effective consultation on safety and workforce matters.

Requirements

Skills, Education and Requirements

• Trade qualification or comparable building/construction training.
• Demonstrated track-construction experience, including top-down track slab construction.
• Substantial trade and construction experience on major rail or infrastructure projects.
• Technical ability to interpret drawings and review construction methods.
• Strong safety leadership and experience managing direct labour, suppliers and subcontractors.
