We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist with expertise in providing top level support across all areas of the I.

T. environment: desktop, server, network, telecom, and industrial technology. The Role: The IT Specialist plays a critical role in managing technology-based systems and providing comprehensive end-user support for PCs, laptops, printers, telecom, access control, and surveillance systems.. This position is responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure; including servers, networks, and related systems to ensure uninterrupted operation in a 24/7 environment.

Some travel is required and is limited to in state day trips. Duties and Responsibities: End user support: Desktop/Application/Telecom support both in person and virtually. Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, including hardware and software updates. Ensure high availability and security of critical IT systems.

Networking: Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure; including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems. System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and address issues promptly to minimize downtime. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Escalate problems as needed to vendors or specialized support.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures. Communication: Monitor, read, and respond to email communications promptly. On-Call Support: Provide after-hours support as needed in a 24/7 operational setting. Other: Comply with FDA, USDA, and GMP policies. Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Food Safety, and cost objectives.

Comply with all standard operation procedures and requirements under PRCP Quality System. Participate in quality improvement process. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology and Computer Science. 5+ years of experience in desktop/end user support. 3+ years of experience in server administration and networking. Proficiency in configuring and maintaining desktop equipment, servers, network devices, and virtualized platforms (e.

g. Hyper-V). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other common network protocols. Experience with backup and recovery solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Server certifications. Google Workspace experience Key Attributes Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical staff. Flexibility to respond to after-hours emergencies in a 24/7 environment. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skill. Ability to solve problems technically and plan strategically.
