Pointe Woods, a Cardinal Senior Living community, we’re looking for a Culinary Front of House Manager who brings energy, hospitality, organization, and leadership to the heart of our dining experience.

This role is for someone who understands that great dining is about more than food. It’s about creating an experience where residents feel welcomed, valued, and cared for every time they sit down to a meal. You’ll lead the front-of-house dining team, create a warm and polished service environment, coordinate daily dining operations, support special events, and make sure the details, from table presentation to guest service, come together seamlessly.

You’ll be the person who notices when a resident needs something before they have to ask, recognizes when the dining room needs attention, supports the team during a busy service, and takes ownership when something isn’t right. Pointe Woods. You’ll be responsible for: Leading, scheduling, training, coaching, and supporting front-of-house dining staff Setting and maintaining high standards for hospitality, service, cleanliness, and presentation Overseeing daily dining room operations and ensuring smooth, timely meal service Creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents and guests feel known and valued Building positive relationships with residents and responding professionally to questions, concerns, and special requests Coordinating with the culinary team to ensure food service is organized, timely, and presented at a high standard Supporting menu rollouts, dining changes, special meals, and resident dining preferences Managing table settings, dining room presentation, service flow, and overall readiness Training staff on proper service techniques, hospitality standards, safety, and professionalism Coaching team members in real time and recognizing opportunities to improve the guest experience Coordinating private dining, celebrations, holidays, community events, and other special occasions Monitoring front-of-house supplies, equipment, and inventory Supporting purchasing, expense tracking, and responsible use of resources Helping maintain compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and food-service standards Addressing service issues quickly, professionally, and with a resident-first mindset Serving as a key communication link between residents, families, dining staff, culinary staff, leadership, and other departments The expectation is simple: Create a dining experience that feels warm, organized, personal, and genuinely hospitable.

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who brings hospitality, leadership, organization, confidence, and genuine care for people . Ideally, you bring: Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, senior living dining, food service, catering, or a similar environment Experience leading, training, and developing a service team A strong understanding of front-of-house operations and hospitality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A natural ability to connect with residents, families, guests, and team members The ability to remain calm, organized, and engaged during busy service periods Strong attention to detail and high standards for presentation Experience with scheduling, inventory, purchasing, or expense management Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment A professional, positive, and team-oriented approach A willingness to be hands-on and lead from the floor, not from behind a desk Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Experience with senior living, food safety, Serv.
