CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist Company: Alloy Machine Works Location: Houston, Texas Position Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. A strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and a passion for manufacturing excellence are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering specifications and drawings.
• Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure products meet strict tolerances and standards.
• Monitor machine operations to identify issues such as malfunctions or deviations from specifications; troubleshoot and resolve problems as necessary.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity, including cleaning and lubricating machines.
• Document and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code and M-code) and experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
