Helper

Position Title: Helper Reports To: Shop Supervisor Department: Shop FLSA Status: Non-exempt Principal Role: Helping as needed as directed by shop supervisors.

Essential Duties

• Boxing and crating product
• Sweeping and cleaning-up as needed
• Cut, Sanding and Grinding screens
• Assist wrapping machine operators
• Assist in any area as needed or directed by management
• Follow all company policies and safety requirements Preferred Qualifications:
• Education & Training: High school diploma or the equivalent
• Business experience: none needed
• Other: ability to read and write English
• Physical Demands: Physical strength to handle shop type duties including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time. Bending, reaching, and stooping on a daily basis. Work Environment: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Uniforms are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
