Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher - First Semester of 2026-27

The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher at the Middle School, effective with the start of the 2026-27 school year through the first semester (January, 2027). This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the district's special education team program.

Must have experience in learning support, instructional adaptation, effective interaction patterns, student discipline/behavior management, providing assistance for at-risk children, and assisting regular classroom teachers in meeting goals set by the special education team. Special Education PA teacher certification, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance are required.
