Established on June 23, 2006, Tata Auto. Comp Hendrickson Suspensions Private Limited (THSL) represents a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Auto. Comp Systems and Hendrickson International. This collaboration combines global expertise with local market insights to deliver innovative heavy duty suspension solutions for medium and heavy commercial vehicles in India, addressing the unique demands of the Indian automotive sector.

In 2025, we were awarded the Deming Prize for our commitment to Total Quality Management.THSL specializes in engineering and manufacturing suspension systems tailored to diverse commercial vehicle applications, including trucks, tippers, tractor-trailers, and buses. Utilizing Hendrickson International’s globally validated designs, THSL integrates these technologies with localized adaptations to meet the distinct operational requirements of Indian road and off-road conditions.

Each solution is meticulously engineered to align with customer-specific duty cycles, ensuring optimal durability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality performance (PPM, customer complaints, warranty, CAPA, and supplier scorecards). Expert in Welding Fabrication Process and probelm solver in case any defect in proocess Expert in GDNT and drawing reading Lead APQP, PPAP, Safe Launch (GP-12), supplier qualification, and engineering change management.

Conduct supplier process, product, and system audits as per IATF 16949 requirements. Drive supplier development through process capability improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Review and approve AIAG Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, Process Flow). Resolve supplier quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
