Accounting Manager

Job description: Knight Commercial is seeking an extremely experienced and highly qualified Accounting Manager, with 5+ years of full charge bookkeeper experience. This position requires the Accounting Manager to be able to handle transactions from entry all the way to financial statements preparation, reviewal, and analysis.

Must be able to handle high pace work environment. General Accounting Duties: Participate in the daily operations of the accounting department. Support/manage accounting department staff. Complete annual audits and tax preparation. Complete month and year-end close process. Streamline internal processes while developing/documenting accounting policies and business processes.

Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances Oversee vendor compliance Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the CEO of errors Recording any inconsistencies to help reconcile inaccuracies. Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets Reviewing and monitoring credit card expenses for all card holders Core Competencies: Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognize errors.

Ability to take a “hands-on” approach to problem solving Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and respond to requests on a timely basis Mathematics skills for accurate record-keeping Administrative skills for filing financial records Computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks Multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with customers, suppliers and other employees in the accounts department Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms Team player mentality, dependable and reliable Willing to learn and adapt to change Qualifications: Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance, or related area 5+ years of experience of relevant experience in accounting required Skilled and knowledgeable in QuickBooks Desktop, REQUIRED.

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Entries, debits and credits Proficient in MS Office Suite Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
