Staff Nurse (Acute) - LPN

The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the supervision of the RN to provide nursing care according to unit/hospital policies and procedures.# They provide nursing care to patients with conditions, which require knowledge and technical skills.# Assist with patient teaching.# May be required to work on other nursing units where they are# competent, according to the distribution of staff and patients.

#Performs other duties as assigned. # # # Education, Work Experience and Licensure: # 1.### Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.# CPR required. # 2.### Previous# acute care experience preferred. # 3.#Ohio license.# Successful completion of pharmacy course, NAPNES, OOPNES,#or OBN certificate.# Successful completion of OBN approved IV Therapy course#is highly recommended.
