Social Media Assistant (Content Creation & Community Management)

We’re looking to hire a Social Media Assistant to support our day-to-day content and engagement. This is a hands-on, creative role focused on producing and managing social media content across platforms, always working under guidance and prior approval.

Responsibilities

Create and publish Instagram Stories and Reels, following brand guidelines and with prior approval before posting Assist with content creation for short-form platforms (Reels, Tik. Toks, Shorts, photos, behind-the-scenes), based on approved ideas and direction Help plan, film, and record content on-site, coordinating content concepts and timing in advance Provide editing support including video trimming, captions, transitions, and design work, all subject to review and approval before publishing Edit photos and videos for social media, including static graphics and post layouts, ensuring alignment with brand standards and approval Take photos and capture content during events and daily activities, following pre-approved content needs Monitor and respond to comments and messages using approved tone, messaging, and response guidelines Stay current with social media trends, tools, and platform updates, sharing ideas and suggestions for review and approval What we’re looking for Experience with content creation and editing for social media Comfortable creating Stories and Reels from start to finish, under direction and approval Working knowledge of Cap.

Cut, Canva, Adobe, or similar editing tools Strong creative eye and attention to detail Organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Familiar with current social media trends and formats
