As a Fugal Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be working as part of our sugar production team, where you'll transform raw ingredients into high-quality sugar while having a blast!

Your Role
in Action Produce Raw Sugar and C seed/magma that consistently satisfies customer expectations with respect to technical and quality specifications Produce quality sugar in such a manner so as not cause delays to pan stage operations Sample, inspect and perform basic analysis on sugar and molasses streams, and maintain up-to-date records Separate sugar from molasses with minimal losses of sugar into the molasses stream Monitor liquor/ magma / massecuite stocks and inform the pan stage operators when levels are abnormal Regular inspection of plant, equipment and completion of maintenance requests Work in conjunction and communicate effectively with the Operations Coordinator, Pan Boilers and Shift Team Maintain high levels of housekeeping around the fugal station Your Winning Combination While the following qualifications are requirements in this role, we are prepared to provide training to the successful candidates who have the right aptitude and team fit.
Desirable Tickets: High Risk Work Licence
- Dogging/Rigging/Scaffolding/Forklift Confined Space Working at Heights Essentially trade skills desired but not required for the role. The successful applicant will also be required to undertake further training to complete the appropriate Operator station and maintenance competencies.
