Grill Supervisor

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-time Grill Supervisor at a private college preparatory school located in Lynchburg, VA.

What you will do

Must be available to work: Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm Pay rate: $20 per hour What you will do: Supervise staff and oversee evening operations in the café and student center, ensuring high-quality service, food presentation, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and cook food using Turbo. Chef ovens, perform food preparation tasks, and maintain prepared items in food warmers in accordance with food safety and temperature control standards.

Oversee the setup, cleanliness, and ongoing maintenance of cafeteria areas and food service stations to ensure quality, safety, and presentation standards are met. Assist leadership with staff supervision, evaluating staffing needs, and supporting purchasing, inventory management, and product availability. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Promote an inclusive, welcoming environment for staff and guests while fostering positive, service-focused client and customer relationships. Provide support for catering events and special functions as needed. What you need: 3 years of food service leadership experience preferred 2-3 years of professional cooking experience required Serv.
