Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹ 250,000 to 300,000 LPM Work Experience: 4–5+ years Required Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and managing women's health conditions, ensuring comprehensive obstetric care, performing gynecological procedures --- Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive gynecological and obstetric evaluations, including patient history intake, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, infertility, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and gynecological cancers.
  • Provide full-spectrum obstetric care, including routine and high-risk prenatal monitoring, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow-up.
  • Perform a variety of gynecological procedures, including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, D&C, endometrial biopsy, and minor surgical interventions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring informed consent and shared decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and adherence to best practices in women’s health.
  • Mentor and support junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical settings.
  • Engage in on-call duties as required, ensuring availability for emergencies and urgent obstetric cases.
  • Collaborate with specialists in maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and oncology when necessary. --- Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM/DNB in OBGYN).
  • Valid and active medical license to practice in India, with registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting, with proven expertise in both gynecological and obstetric care.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing common and advanced gynecological procedures, including laparoscopy and operative vaginal deliveries.
  • Strong understanding of maternal-fetal medicine, antenatal care protocols, and emergency obstetric interventions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills with a patient-first approach.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain composure during critical situations.
  • Commitment to continuing medical education and staying updated with the latest clinical guidelines and innovations in women’s health.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital health platforms is highly desirable. ---
