Banquet Server

• BIRMINGHAM, AL, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00Hourly, Job Shift: Evening Shift , The Country Club of Birmingham is looking for a friendly, dependable Server to join our Banquets team. We provide exceptional dining and hospitality experiences for our members and guests in a welcoming, professional environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent service, and being part of a team. Pay: $15-$18 hourly, depending on experience Schedule: 20–25 hours per week; specific schedule will be discussed during the interview.

What You'll Do

Welcome and provide attentive, professional service to members and guests. Prepare assigned dining and event areas before and after shifts, including event setup and breakdown. Greet and seat members and guests and provide menus as needed. Take beverage orders and ensure orders are delivered accurately and promptly. Prepare beverages by icing glasses and adding garnishes and other ingredients.

Safely and efficiently transport food and beverages on trays to members and guests. Check back with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to requests. Clear empty glasses and maintain clean, organized tables and service areas. Keep assigned tables, lounge areas, bus stations, and other work areas clean and presentable.

Follow all club policies and revenue-control procedures. Communicate member or guest concerns and complaints to the supervisor promptly. Attend staff lineups and meetings as required. Work cooperatively with other Food & Beverage team members to provide an exceptional member experience.

What We're Looking For

1-2 years of previous experience Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Friendly, positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to remain professional and attentive in a busy hospitality environment.
