Recruiter

SGA Design Group is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring high-quality candidates across the firm. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with strong candidate sourcing skills and experience identifying and engaging qualified professionals, including passive candidates.

Experience working in a staffing agency, recruiting firm, or other sourcing-intensive environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels. Identify and engage passive candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future needs.

Review applications, conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers. Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process. Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, universities, professional organizations, and other talent sources.

Prepare job postings and ensure open positions are effectively marketed. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system. Represent the firm at career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities. Stay informed about talent market conditions, recruiting trends, and effective sourcing practices.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent recruiting experience will be considered. 2+ years of professional recruiting experience required. Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills. Staffing agency, recruiting/search firm, or similar high-volume sourcing experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success with proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development. Experience with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools preferred.
