CMA / X-Ray Tech

The CMA / X-Ray Tech will apply professional clinical theory and render services consistent with the scope of practice for CMAs within the State of North Carolina. The CMA/X-Ray Tech will perform a wide variety of duties relating to assisting the provider with patient care in an office type setting.

CMAs will receive on-the-job training to perform x-rays on legs, arms, fingers, toes, ankles, wrists, hands and chest. The CMA/X-Ray Tech will operate radiographic equipment to make quality radiographs of designated portions of the body as described above under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. The CMA/X-Ray Tech will accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
