Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our EMPOWER team in Ahoskie, NC. As a Direct Support Professional , every day is an opportunity to make a difference! You'll support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and recreational experiences while encouraging independence, social connections, and personal growth.

Whether you're helping someone learn a new skill, participate in community events, or enjoy a favorite activity, you'll help create meaningful moments that promote confidence, inclusion, and a great quality of life. What You’ll Do Ensure member health, safety, and well-being at all times Help with lifting, transfers, and mobility as needed Assist with medication administration and documentation Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports Work as part of a supportive, mission-driven team What You Bring We’re looking for someone who brings the experience, skills, and commitment needed to succeed in this role.

High school diploma or equivalent required Valid North Carolina Driver’s license, reliable transportation and vehicle insurance required Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required.
