• LA JOLLA, CA, Salary Range: $110000.00 - $150000.00Salary, Job description: Manage and review of Gift, Estate and Trust tax returns Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client industries Prepare internal memoranda, written correspondence/ guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS, Treasury Department, or other taxing authorities Manage tax planning for trust and individual income taxes Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality Provide guidance and feedback to staff and interns Provide technical training and participate in mentorship program Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of clients Qualifications: Qualified candidates will possess the following: CPA or JD certification 5 or more years of experience in public accounting Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Tax Excellent organization and time management skills Highly detail-oriented, organized and proactive Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service focus Strong computer skills; knowledge of CCH Axcess and Engagement a plus Technical skills reflective of experience An ability to work within a team framework and comfortable reporting to multiple people Our benefits include: Competitive salary Health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability insurance 401(k) plan New business and employee referral bonuses Professional dues Continuing education Free parking
