Job description
Provide medical and surgical care across the multiple clinic settings of the health department. Has primary responsibility for examining patients, obtaining clinical specimens including surgical tissue biopsies, determining correct diagnosis and prescribing appropriate treatment. In addition, reviews result of clinical laboratory or pathological specimens and recommends plans of care for patients.
This work is done under the guidance of the physician medical director.
