Maintenance Supervisor

We are hiring an on site Maintenance Supervisor at our 250+ unit apartment community in Lancaster, CA. The candidate will work effectively with the maintenance team and management, foster resident relationships, and manage challenges and emergencies with adaptability. The salary range for this position is $30.50-34.50/per hr.

Additional compensation includes mileage reimbursement. The compensation provided to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as their experience and qualifications. This position must be able to live on site in a company provided unit. First Pointe Management Group (FPMG) focuses on acquiring and developing unique properties.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am- 5pm. Must be a part of an on call rotation for this property and two other neighboring Lancaster properties.

What you will bring

Extensive expertise in technical repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, appliance maintenance, carpentry, and painting, complemented by strong soft skills such as prioritization, customer service, and communication. Experienced in property management for properties with over 250+ units. Must be able to live on site in a company provided unit.

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor and have supervised a staff of a team of 3-5 employees. Proficient in using computer technology, managing databases, and handling calendars for vendor services and capital improvement projects. Highly organized and able to handle work at a fast pace, efficiently with good follow-through.

Be proactive to handle anything that comes your way, especially when it comes to emergencies and after-hour calls. High school diploma or equivalent.
