Processing Assistant Supervisor - WIC

This position works as a direct assistant to the WIC Director and requires considerable knowledge of the work unit, organization, and relevant regulations. Works as a direct supervisor to the support staff, which consists of WIC clerical staff, and oversees the management of program function in the clerical area and vendor unit.

Works closely with the nutrition staff in a support position. Functions as the Vendor Manager and provides assistance and accountability for the WIC Vendor section. Interprets and explains policies and procedural guidelines to ensure compliance of the WIC administrative areas. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Health Director.
