Federated Hermes' Summer Internship Program gives students real hands-on experience, professional skill-building, and direct access to talented leaders across the firm. You'll gain valuable insight into the asset management industry, build your network, and take part in engaging events throughout the summer designed to foster collaboration, connect you with the firm and your fellow interns.

Purpose of the Internship: As a Corporate Communications School Year Intern, you will be responsible for planning and completion of individual team and/or Federated Hermes projects, including daily media reconnaissance, one-page quarterly corporate fact sheets, internal communications projects and advertising and video communications efforts.

Major Duties: Utilize media relations software for research purposes Utilize media monitoring software to track news clips from newspapers, magazines and other sources Contribute to social media efforts Prepare slides for monthly media report Order reprints of articles Organize and schedule photography sessions for investment personnel Work with writers, designers and E-marketing team members to research and create infographics for website Research competitor websites and assist as needed on digital initiatives including web refresh and content personalization Post items to Federated.

Hermes.com on an as-requested basis, working under guidance of the E-marketing team and ensuring that appropriate approvals are obtained Assist with internal and external public relations initiatives Assist with internal communications efforts including intranet and office signage Hours/Location: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

during the summer The internship is full-time during the summer working 37.5 hours/week and part-time during the school year working 15-20 hours/week. Schedule can be flexible based on student’s schedule. Federated Hermes Tower – Pittsburgh, PA 15222 Hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office / 1 day remote) Explanatory Comments: Proven solid written and oral communication skills Demonstrated a cooperative attitude Demonstrated the ability to work in fast paced environment Strong attention to detail when preparing and reviewing communications materials Position Specifications: In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, journalism or related field required Minimum of one year communications experience through internships or course work required Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Power Point required Interest in mutual funds industry
