Data Analyst Intern

Join the MVT family!!! Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring a Data Analyst Intern to join our IT team! We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of logistics and customer service within a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

Collect data from multiple sources (spreadsheets, systems, emails, reports) Compile and maintain recurring reports (daily, weekly, monthly) Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency Format and present reports in Excel, PowerPoint, or other tools Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes Support documentation of reporting procedures and workflows Assist in transitioning manual reports toward automation (when applicable) Communicate findings clearly to team members and stakeholders Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred) Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
