About the Position The Data Analyst supports business operations by researching, reviewing, and maintaining data within business systems and applications.

This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, maintaining documentation, and supporting business users with data-related inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Research, validate, and maintain data within business systems. Locate, record, and update item numbers, product codes, product descriptions, and other master data attributes. Review and categorize data according to established business rules and requirements. Analyze item descriptions, specifications, and supporting documentation to verify data accuracy.

Maintain Excel spreadsheets and create documentation using Microsoft Office applications. Communicate with business users to gather information and resolve data-related questions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Perform routine data validation and quality checks. Required Qualifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to research information and make sound decisions based on available data.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems. Experience with master data, inventory, manufacturing, supply chain, or food production environments. Familiarity with product specifications, quality assurance, or regulatory documentation. Key Characteristics: Self-starter with a willingness to learn.

Curious, resourceful, and detail-oriented. Dependable and able to follow established processes. Comfortable communicating with users and team members across the organization.
