Claims Specialist

Short Description As a Claims Specialist, your responsibilities will be: Responsible for providing excellent customer care with a client service mindset with the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals. Responsible for evaluating disputed credit card transactions. Investigates the disputes cases and determine if the chargeback if appropriate.

Debit Commercial accounts for chargebacks resolved against merchants. Performs account reconciliations as part of the dispute resolution effort. Provides merchants with the documentation that supports the debit to their commercial accounts. Assists with training and developing new team members as assigned by management.

Performs special projects and other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management. Experience: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. At least one (1) year of previous experience in claims management and customer service roles. Stay focused on central issues Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.

Identify and resolve problems promptly, and develop alternative solutions to emerging issues. English and Spanish oral and written. High Knowledge of Word, Excel, and other related software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Highly oriented to details, internal controls, and procedures. Outstanding customer service skills. Fast learner with high initiative and proactivity traits. Teamwork-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
