The Finance Officer plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial data, managing loan lifecycle activities, and delivering timely insights that support strategic planning and risk mitigation. Responsibilities
Perform daily financial operations, including cash reconciliation, transaction processing, and deposit verification. Maintain accurate and compliant financial records using internal systems and regulatory guidelines. Assist in the end-to-end management of loan applications, disbursements, and repayment tracking. Prepare routine financial reports and portfolio performance summaries for management review.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulatory frameworks, and audit requirements. Process member contributions, savings deposits, and investment transactions with precision and timeliness. Monitor loan arrears and assist in identifying credit risk indicators for early intervention. Support budget preparation, expense tracking, and basic financial forecasting activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
