Please provide the following documents: Cover Letter Resume/CV Math Skills Center Tutor Job Description The Math Skills Center seeks new student workers to act as tutors, paper graders, and data analyzers. Student workers will work in a variety of ways, including assisting faculty and other students throughout the semester with their needs for the math classrooms.
To qualify for a tutoring position, students must have completed Calculus 1 or an equivalent course. In addition, the successful candidate must agree to complete all required training, both in person and online, in a timely manner, and abide by all training protocols, including local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to those laws pertaining to education, such as FERPA.
The successful candidate will receive information about all required trainings and departmental expectations of professionalism and ethical behavior. When the department begins the interview process, each candidate who is needed for an interview will be contacted directly. There is no need to follow up in person in the department unless contacted by the Department to come for a meeting.
