Roadway Design Engineer

Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. is a growing multi-disciplined civil engineering firm in search of a Roadway Design Engineer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our reputation in the local engineering and construction industries is second to none, and we are seeking individuals that will help us grow, while maintaining that reputation.

Daily duties may include project and staff management; customer relations; complete plan development and design on a variety of land development, roadway, and structural related projects.

Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of roadway projects
• Manage projects and mentor junior staff
• Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce roadway design plans and contract documents
• Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers
• Demonstrate advanced use with Micro. Station or Openroads
• Adhere to a strict quality control requirements Applicants have obtained BS or MS degree in civil engineering preferred, and 3 or more years of experience in roadway design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.
