Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. is a multi-disciplined growing civil engineering firm in search of a Land Surveyor Crew Chief based in Norfolk, Nebraska. Candidate will be working as the party chief in various field surveying and construction staking activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as directed by the Survey Team Manager.
• Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy
• Collaborate with Engineers for project requirements
• Perform fieldwork related to construction boundary surveying, staking, and topographic surveys.
• Set up and operate survey equipment (Total Station and GPS).
• Download, Edit, and E-Mail survey data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Technical school, Surveying, or related field preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability of read and interpret construction plans
• Minimum of 2 years of land surveying experience
• Able to travel during the work week with the occasional overnight travel
• Willingness and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrain
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong math and computer skills preferred
