Custodian – Educational Facility Cincinnati, OH area Your work matters here. The classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces you care for directly affect the experience of students, educators, staff, families, and visitors.

What You’ll Do Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, locker rooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned spaces Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners Clean windows, glass, entrances, and frequently touched surfaces Restock restroom, kitchen, and other facility supplies Perform floor care, including buffing, burnishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning Set up and remove tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, school functions, and special events Complete seasonal cleaning, deep-cleaning assignments, and special projects Safely operate floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, extractors, and other custodial equipment Maintain organized cleaning equipment, supplies, and custodial storage areas Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or security concerns Follow OSHA requirements and all customer and Perfection Group safety procedures Respond professionally and respectfully to students, staff, visitors, and facility leaders Assist with basic facility-upkeep responsibilities as needed You May Be a Great Fit If You Take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces Are dependable, punctual, and ready to work your scheduled shift Notice details and complete assignments thoroughly Can work independently and remain accountable for assigned areas Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and leadership Treat students, staff, visitors, and customer information with discretion and respect Can organize your work and adjust when facility priorities change Are comfortable learning to use commercial cleaning products and equipment Follow safety procedures and use chemicals and equipment correctly Build trust through consistency and dependable follow-through Previous custodial, commercial cleaning, educational, industrial, hospitality, or facility-maintenance experience is preferred.

Experience with commercial floor-care equipment is especially helpful, but training may be provided to the right candidate.
