Mechanical Engineer - Project

Location Mehsana SMT Tube PU, India Main Responsibilities :- Design and review mechanical systems for tube manufacturing machinery (pilger mills, furnaces, polishers, straighteners). Prepare detailed engineering specifications, BOMs, and layouts for procurement of stainless steel processing equipment. Perform stress analysis, FEA simulations, and CAD modeling (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for custom modifications.

Oversee vendor selection, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and delivery coordination from suppliers in India/China/Japan. Supervise onsite installation, alignment, trial runs, and commissioning of mechanical equipment. Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with civil/structural teams for shed foundation and machinery foundation designs.

Ensure compliance with ASME/ISO standards for pressure vessels and tube production lines.

Education

Qualification :- BE in Mechanical Engineering E xperience Required Should have minimum experience of 6 to 7 years in tube industries in the field of maintenance or Project Interested candidates may send their profiles on [email protected]
