Job Summary
We are seeking a CAD Consultant to manage the CAD support service for TYLin's Singapore office and ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent CAD outputs across projects. This role will lead and mentor CAD staff, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance to meet project deadlines while implementing and enforcing CAD standards, guidelines, and best practices.
The CAD Consultant will provide technical guidance on CAD tools and workflows, foster continuous improvement within the team, and work closely with the Singapore CAD Manager to support project delivery and enhance CAD operations.
Responsibilities
& Qualifications Key Responsibilities Oversee the CAD support service for the TYLin Singapore office. Coordinate the CAD staff assigned to SG projects, distribute tasks, and track progress to support project timelines Apply CAD standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality output Provide technical guidance to team members on CAD tools and workflows Collaborate closely with the SG CAD Manager Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related discipline.
Minimum 20-25 years of relevant CAD experience, including experience in engineering, infrastructure, or multidisciplinary projects. Proven experience in a CAD Consultant, CAD Coordinator, or CAD Lead role with responsibility for overseeing CAD support services and team performance. Strong proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, Micro.
Station, Civil 3D, Open. Roads, or similar platforms. Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and enforcing CAD standards, procedures, and quality assurance processes. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate CAD teams, ensuring efficient workload distribution and timely project delivery. Strong understanding of CAD workflows, drafting best practices, and project delivery requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams and supporting regional offices is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with the Singapore CAD Manager and project teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
