Browning Public Schools POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT Posted: August 12, 2026 _________________________________________________________________________ Position: Personal Care Attendant; 3 Openings; Location TBD (Building is not assigned but when assigned is subject to change, depending on needs of the district) Type: Positions are for the 2026-2027 school year.

Instructional support for school as assigned; full-time, 40-hrs per week, 9-month (school term) position under Classified Labor Agreement. Supervised by building principal or designee. Eligibility: Must have clean criminal record (no felony or multiple misdemeanors). See Qualifications below. Duties: Under general supervisor of the building principal, performs services in supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a self-contained classroom.

Such functions include escort services for transportation and classroom transitions, safety, exercise, ambulation, instructional, personal care for students with functional limitations and ability to perform activities of daily living. See Job Description: Personal Care Attendant.

Qualifications

Required: Any combination of education or experience that would provide the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. However, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications; AA Degree or PCA License, Nursing Assistant or CPR/First Aide Certification (or willingness to obtain).
