Broadstep Behavioral Health is actively hiring a Licensed Therapist for our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) in Simpsonville, SC. We know the work you do is meaningful—and we make sure the role supports you in return: Competitive compensation + full benefits package Generous Paid Time Off + Company Holidays Collaborative, interdisciplinary care model (Clinical, Nursing, Operations aligned) Manageable caseloads to allow for quality care and engagement Structured environment with clear processes and expectations Strong leadership support and clinical collaboration What You’ll Do Clinical Leadership & Therapy Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a structured residential setting Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions Monitor progress and adjust treatment based on clinical need Family & Guardian Engagement (Key Focus) Serve as the primary liaison to parents/guardians Provide regular updates on progress, treatment goals, and discharge planning Facilitate family involvement in therapy and care planning Support families in preparing for successful transition post-discharge Interdisciplinary Collaboration Partner with nursing, clinical, and operations teams Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination Provide guidance to direct care staff to support treatment plan implementation Documentation & Compliance Complete timely and accurate documentation including: Assessments, Treatment plans, Progress notes and Discharge summaries Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and active treatment Discharge Planning & Continuity of Care Support discharge planning from admission through transition Coordinate with families and external providers Develop aftercare recommendations and continuity plans Crisis Support Respond to behavioral health crises Support staff with intervention strategies and de-escalation What You Bring Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field Active, unrestricted South Carolina license (LMSW, LISW-CP, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) Experience working with children/adolescents in behavioral health or residential settings preferred Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment Work Environment 24/7 residential treatment setting About Broadstep Behavioral Health Broadstep has been a leader in providing a continuum of physical, emotional, and mental health services for over 45 years.
